Welcome! I'm deeply passionate about psychology and psychotherapy, dedicating my career to understanding the mind and fostering emotional well-being. Beyond my work with clients, I'm constantly exploring the latest in psychology through both reading and writing, always eager to share insights and discoveries.

My approach is tailored to fit each individual's unique needs. I blend a variety of counselling techniques and psychological theory, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Mindfulness,ensuring my methods are grounded in solid research and proven effectiveness. While I'm equipped to support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, I have a special focus on couples counseling, and helping those dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Before stepping into the world of counseling psychology, I spent 18 years supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, alongside their families, across schools, homes, and care environments. This extensive experience has enriched my understanding and empathy, guiding my practice today.

I'm also an experienced speaker and trainer, with several publications on public speaking and personal development to my name. My work aims to inspire and equip others with the tools for personal growth and effective communication.

  • Graduate Member of The Psychological Society of Ireland (12729)

  • Certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2)

  • Specialized Training in Gottman Method for couples navigating infidelity and trauma

  • Emotionally-Focused Therapy Externship

My Practise

My therapy practise is located South of Roundwood, in a valley at the serene foot of the Wicklow Mountains, offering tranquility and seclusion. 

Nestled amidst this inspiring landscape, my therapy room has been designed with comfort and privacy in mind. It is a space where individuals and couples can feel at ease. Here, you'll find a supportive environment tailored to meet your therapeutic needs, whether you're seeking guidance, healing, or growth.

The unique setting of my practice not only enhances the therapeutic experience but also contributes to a sense of retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle. It's a place where you can take a deep breath, feel grounded, and embark on your journey towards better well-being.
